Terms of Use

The rules for using this website, its articles, and its claim tools. Effective October 3, 2026.

Effective date: October 3, 2026

These Terms of Use apply to your use of mcallenpublicadjuster.com, operated by McAllen Public Adjuster, a public adjusting service of Rise Public Adjusting LLC (TDI license #3356839) ("we," "our," or "us"). By using this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Educational information only

Articles, guides, and pages on this website provide general, educational information about property insurance claims in Texas. They are not legal advice and are not advice about coverage under your specific policy. Every claim depends on its own policy language, facts, and insurer.

  • We do not guarantee coverage, payment, or any claim outcome.
  • Laws, regulations, and building codes change; information may not reflect the latest updates.
  • We are public adjusters, not attorneys. For legal questions, consult a Texas attorney.

No client relationship until a contract is signed

Browsing this website, submitting a form, uploading files, calling, or emailing us does not create a public adjuster–client relationship. That relationship begins only when you and we sign a written public adjuster contract that complies with Texas Department of Insurance requirements. Under Texas law, you may rescind that contract within 72 hours of signing it. Until a contract is signed, we are not acting on your behalf, and you remain responsible for meeting your policy's deadlines and duties.

Claim tools are estimates

The Claim Calculator, Documentation Checklist, Storm Lookup, and other tools are educational aids. Results are estimates based on the information you enter and general assumptions. They are not appraisals, estimates of repair cost, coverage determinations, or predictions of what an insurer will pay.

Weather and storm data

Weather and storm information on this site comes from third-party government sources, including the National Weather Service and NOAA's National Centers for Environmental Information, and from the Iowa Environmental Mesonet. This data:

  • May be preliminary, delayed, revised, or incomplete
  • Reflects reports at particular locations and times, not conditions at every property
  • Does not prove that damage occurred at a specific property

A nearby hail or wind report can be useful context for a claim, but damage must be established by inspection and documentation. We are not responsible for errors or gaps in third-party data.

No emergency services

This website and our forms are not monitored for emergencies. If anyone is in danger, or there is a fire, gas leak, or other emergency, call 911. For urgent property protection, contact a qualified contractor or your insurer.

When using this website, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information in any form you submit
  • Upload only files you have the right to share, free of malware
  • Not use the site for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes
  • Not attempt to disrupt, overload, scrape at scale, or gain unauthorized access to the site or its tools

We may block access or refuse submissions that violate these terms.
